I have a Bible verse that is my favorite.  For many years it has been Romans 8:1, "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Italics added are mine, to emphasize that a Christian is as free from fear of punishment from God as if he were already in heaven.)

But the definite increase in the sheer volume and intensity of violent lawlessness in our world in the last five to ten years has sent me to my Bible, searching for reassurance from my Protector.  And reassurance is abundantly there in many verses! My personal favorite is this first one :
Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you. (Do not be afraid of what is coming in the future) Be not dismayed, for I am your God. (Do not look in your past with regret, because nothing happens without it crossing His desk first)  I will strengthen you. (God will enable you to accomplish what He wants you to  do yourself) Yes, I will help you. (God Himself will actually step in and personally do the needful things that you cannot) I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (The Almighty will keep you standing straight and strong enough, even when fierce storms of trouble are battering you from every side.  You will be kept safe in His righteous hand.)

Want others? They are there, and some of them I have listed below:
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Psalm 56:3 - "Whenever I am afraid I will trust in You."
Psalm 56:11 - "In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid, what can man do to me?"
Psalms 59:16 - "But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble."
Psalms 27:14 - "Wait on the Lord.  Be of good courage.  And He shall strengthen your heart.  Wait, I say, on the Lord!"
Psalms 27:17-18 - "The righteous cry out and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.  The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."
II Timothy 1:7 - "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
